About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow near the extinct volcano Monte Vulture in Basilicata, southern Italy.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully transported in crates to keep the berries intact. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats for 10–15 days.
Ageing
The wine matures for 18 months in 228 L French oak barrels, followed by six months in bottle. It is recommended for drinking within 24 months of bottling.

Aromatic and lively, with musky berry notes and firm tannins.
