Casa Maschito was founded in 1999, when a group of young entrepreneurs bought ten hectares of land near Vulture, in the province of Potenza in Basilicata, and set up a winemaking company.

The vineyards lie on the hills near Vulture, in the province of Potenza, Basilicata. The soils are easy to work and produce grapes that become elegant, full-bodied wines.

Casa Maschito combines old traditions with modern production methods, aiming for high quality in every vintage. The winery produces around 60,000 bottles a year across a wide range of wines.
