About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Faset cru was planted in 1965. The old vineyard lies at the top of a hill on mineral-rich, greyish-white calcareous marl containing magnesium and manganese.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested entirely by hand. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in oak vats, with 17–18 days of skin contact, followed by malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine ages for at least two years, including 18 months in large oak casks, followed by further ageing in bottle.
