About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Nebbiolo is grown in Barbaresco and Treviso, in east- and southeast-facing vineyards on clay-limestone marl rich in silt and sand.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand. Vinification takes place in stainless-steel tanks, with 13–14 days of skin-contact maceration at 27–32 °C, followed by malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine ages for at least two years: 18 months in large oak casks followed by six months in bottle.
Tasting profile
The aroma is complex, while the palate is refined.
