About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards are in Veneto, face south and lie at 250–300 m above sea level.
Vinification
After harvest the grapes are destemmed and undergo cold maceration. The must is then fermented on the skins for 15 hours, to extract more colour and aroma.
Ageing
The wine is aged on its lees in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at 15–16 °C. The lees are stirred during fermentation to give the finished wine a fuller flavour and aroma.
