About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the Manzola vineyard in the commune of Treiso, at 230 m above sea level. The site has a south-west exposure and clay-limestone and sandy soils.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in mid-October. Fermentation and maceration take place for 13–15 days in vertical stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 30 °C, with pump-overs and irrigation of the cap.
Ageing
The wine rests for 24 months in oak barrels, followed by six months in bottle.
