About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Pinot Nero grows in Piedmont at around 300 metres above sea level. The vineyards are shaped by hills, Alpine breezes and warm sunshine.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested and selected at ideal ripeness. After destemming, the berries are crushed. The must ferments at a controlled temperature, and the skins are stirred regularly to extract as much tannin and aroma as possible.
Ageing
The wine ages for 12 months in steel tanks, which gives it an expressive flavour while preserving its fresh berry notes.
Tasting profile
Elegant. The nose shows delicate raspberry and subtle hints of dried herbs.
Serving and pairing
Pairs especially well with mature cheeses and game.
