About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in the Roero area on limestone and silica-rich soils, which drain well. The limestone brings freshness and acidity to the juice; the silica adds subtle minerality and a clean taste.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and gently pressed on arrival at the winery. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, to preserve the pure aromas and keep the wine fresh.
Ageing
A short period of ageing in the same stainless steel tanks keeps the wine light and clear.
Tasting profile
Soft and rounded, with the delicate aromas typical of Arneis. Notes of pear, ripe apple and white flowers, with a light mineral touch. The acidity is gentle and refreshing, and the profile is balanced and refined.
Serving and pairing
Pairs with fish appetizers, seafood, risotto, pasta with light sauces and white meat dishes.
