About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie in the Piave River basin, southeast of Treviso, on clay-limestone soils with a high potassium content. The vines average 18 years of age.
Vinification
The Pinot Nero was harvested in late August and the Malbec in late September. Maceration lasted 8–10 days in wooden vats.
Ageing
The wine aged for around eight months in French oak barrels.
