About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in the company’s vineyards in the province of Trapani, at 80 metres above sea level. Located on Sicily’s western coast, the province borders the Tyrrhenian Sea. The mineral-rich clay soils experience a Mediterranean climate with mild winters, limited rainfall, and very hot, windy summers.
Vinification
Harvest begins in the second third of September. The grapes undergo partial maceration at low temperature, followed by alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled steel vats.
Ageing
The wine matures for four months in stainless-steel tanks.
