About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the estate’s vineyards in the province of Trapani, at an altitude of 150 metres. The province is on Sicily’s western coast beside the Tyrrhenian Sea. Mineral-rich clay soils and a Mediterranean climate characterize the area, with mild winters, limited rainfall, and very hot, windy summers.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in the second half of August, carefully sorted at the winery, and gently pressed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine rests for four months in stainless steel tanks.
