About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the west-facing Le Sondraie vineyard, 25 m above sea level, on marl mixed with sand and gravel. Proximity to the sea brings cool breezes, while the surrounding hills shelter the vines from cold northerly winds. Generous sunshine throughout the year allows the fruit to ripen fully.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested and sorted by hand, first in the vineyard and again at the winery, and transported in small crates. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine rests briefly on its lees in stainless-steel tanks.
Tasting profile
Bright and aromatic.
Label / history
“Solosole” means “only sunlight,” referring to the growing conditions in the Le Sondraie vineyard.
