About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in Rodel and Pianezzi, at 500 metres above sea level. The vineyards have a south-west exposure, and the soil is 30–100 cm deep.
Ageing
The wine spends about one year in oak barrels, followed by 12 months in bottle.
Tasting profile
The layered, aromatic nose combines forest berries, raspberries, blackberries, ripe cherries and plums with light hints of tobacco. The palate is clean and balanced, with firm tannins.
Label / history
The wine takes its name from the two areas where its grapes are grown: Rodel and Pianezzi.
