About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Cortese vines grow on brown clay and alluvial soils in the Gavi region. They are 30 years old on average and planted at a density of 4,500 vines per hectare.
Vinification
Harvest begins in mid-September. Fermentation takes place at 15–20 °C.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees for at least three months, followed by a further one to two months in bottle.
