About this wine

Vinification

The grapes are harvested in September and October. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at 28 °C for 25 days.

Ageing

The wine matures for 14 months in 225- and 500-litre French oak barrels.

Label / history

L’aura is named after the mother of Jacopo, one of the winery’s operators. Its label retains the apostrophe used by Petrarch in his works. First released in 1998, the wine is produced in quantities of around 35,000 bottles per year.
