About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in Emilia-Romagna in Northern Italy and come exclusively from the company’s own vineyards, located in the heart of the DOC production area.
Grapes
In addition to Albana and Trebbiano, the blend includes Montuni.
Vinification
After secondary fermentation, the wine is bottled under pressure using the Charmat method, producing a lively stream of bubbles.
Tasting profile
The wine has a persistent fresh aroma. The palate is balanced, with ripe-fruit notes and noticeable acidity.
Serving and pairing
Recommended with pasta, light main courses and, in particular, desserts.
Label / history
The cooperative Cantina Cooperativa Vini di Castelfranco Emilia was reorganized in Castelfranco Emilia more than half a century ago. The resulting cooperative project established four additional wineries within several years, together with the Consorzio Interprovinciale Vini (CIV). Civ & Civ was founded in 1964 and began producing and selling wine. The group is now owned by Riunite, and their joint wines are released under the Riunite & Civ label.
