About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from 45-year-old vines.
Grapes
Eight selected Sangiovese clones are used.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented with natural yeasts in oak vats. Sulfur use is minimal, and the wine is bottled without filtration.
Ageing
The wine ages for 48 months in two stages: first in barrels, then in bottle.
Tasting profile
Powerfully structured, with balanced acidity and a long finish.
