About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie at 50 metres above sea level, south of Lake Garda. They have clay-limestone soils rich in mineral salts and a particularly favourable climate.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand during the final ten days of September and gently pressed at the winery, with a maximum juice yield of approximately 60%. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine rests in stainless steel tanks for 4–5 months, followed by a further 2–3 months of maturation in bottle in the winery’s cellars.
