About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vines grow at 50 m above sea level, south of Lake Garda, on clay-limestone soils rich in mineral salts. They are more than 55 years old on average.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand during the first ten days of October and gently pressed at the winery, with a maximum must yield of approximately 50%. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine rests in stainless-steel tanks for 10–12 months, followed by 2–3 months in bottle in the winery’s cellars.
