About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Barbera grapes are grown in Piedmont, at the foot of the Western Alps. The mountains surround the region to the north and west, forming a natural border with Provence. The growing conditions include hot summer sunshine, cold autumn winds and winter fog.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness. The wine is made using a traditional vinification method for dry red wines.
Tasting profile
Bright cherry aromas are accompanied by good acidity and moderate complexity.
Serving and pairing
Pair with meat appetisers, risotto, pasta, veal, beef dishes and cheeses.
