Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in Menfi in southwestern Sicily, on stony volcanic soils rich in minerals.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in the early morning and undergo a long, low-temperature fermentation in stainless-steel tanks.
Tasting profile
The aroma and palate have bright mineral and citrus notes. The palate is balanced and structured.
Label / history
The wine won a silver medal at the 2011 Chardonnay du Monde competition.
