About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The organically farmed, south-facing vineyards lie in Menfi at 100–300 m above sea level, on clay soils.
Grapes
Zibibbo is also known as Muscat of Alexandria.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in the second week of September. They undergo cryomaceration for 4–6 hours at 5–8 °C, followed by fermentation of the must for about 15–20 days at 16–18 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures on its lees for four months in stainless-steel tanks.
Tasting profile
Highly aromatic, with a notably fresh palate.
