About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Chardonnay is grown on east-facing plots around the estate in the municipality of Barbaresco, on sandy clay soils.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and pressed. The must remains in contact with the skins for one day, then ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation takes place in oak barrels.
Ageing
The wine ages for at least 12 months in French barriques, of which 25% are new, followed by a further year in bottle before release.
Tasting profile
Rich and generous on the palate, with a layered aroma.
Label / history
Production is limited to 3,000 bottles.
