About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Malvasia comes from a northeast-facing hillside vineyard in Friuli Colli Orientali, at 120 metres above sea level. The marl and sandstone site was planted in 2013 at a density of 5,000 vines per hectare and is trained to Guyot.

Grapes

Malvasia.

Tasting profile

Straw yellow with green reflections. Peppery aromas mingle with rosemary, sage and thyme. The palate balances a soft, creamy, glycerol-rich texture with the variety’s lively, mineral character. It is harmonious, with well-integrated alcohol and a long finish marked by citrus and floral notes.

Serving and pairing

Serve at 8–10 °C. Pair with fish starters, pasta in fish-based white sauces, smoked cured meats and fresh cheeses.
