About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from vines between 5 and 35 years old, grown at 300–500 m above sea level on gravelly clay-limestone soils in Caldaro and Appiano.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in mid-September. At the winery they are hand-sorted, macerated and gently pressed, then fermented in stainless steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine is aged on the lees for 7 months.
Tasting profile
Rich and aromatic, with memorable notes of rose and Eastern spices. It shows distinctive nuances that reflect its terroir.
Label / history
The wine has been one of the flagship wines of the "Sanct Valentin" range since 1986.
