About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the Lahn vineyard at the foot of the Mendola massif, where the vines grow on rocky limestone soils and are swept by fresh winds. The vines are 10–25 years old and produce small yields.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in mid-September and fermented in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees in the same stainless-steel tanks for seven months.
