About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from southeast-facing vineyards in San Michele and Appiano Monte, on hillsides at 450 to 600 m above sea level. The vines are 10 to 35 years old.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at the end of September. After gentle pressing, 75% of the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks and the remainder in oak barrels.
Ageing
The wine rests on fine lees for 6 months. The final blend is then assembled and bottled.
