Made from grapes dried during the winter months, following the method recorded in the earliest known historical reference.
Label / history
The earliest known mention dates to the 5th century AD, when Cassiodorus, a minister to King Theodoric, wrote of the red “Acinatico” as a wine obtained for the royal table. The wine continues to be produced using the same method.
