About this wine
Vinification
The wine is produced at the San Quirico winery in Diano d'Alba, near Alba.
Ageing
It rests for six months in stainless-steel tanks, followed by approximately six months in Slavonian oak barrels and a further, unspecified period in bottle.
Tasting profile
Its colour develops a garnet-red hue with age.
Label / history
The name Nebbiolo derives from the Italian word nebbia, meaning “fog”. According to tradition, the grape harvest should begin when the first fog appears over the Langhe hills in late October.
