About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The wine is selected from production originating in southern Puglia. The vines are cultivated principally using the region’s traditional alberello training method.
Grapes
100% Primitivo.
Vinification
The wine undergoes temperature-controlled maceration and fermentation. At the end of fermentation, the must is pressed gently.
Ageing
Thirty percent of the wine matures in barriques for one year, while the remaining 70% spends the same period in stainless-steel tanks.
Tasting profile
The bouquet is intense and focused on red fruit. These fruit notes carry through onto the palate, which is rich and smooth, concluding with a balanced finish.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 16–18 °C. Pair with meat, game or aged cheeses.
