About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from southeast-facing vineyards on the hills of Taburno, at 200–600 metres above sea level. The soils are clay and limestone. The wider area's growing conditions are influenced by volcanic rock, mild winters, regular rainfall from September to March, and warm, dry summers.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in late September at full ripeness, then destemmed, crushed and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at 15 °C.
Tasting profile
Elegant, with delicate fruit aromas, hints of nuts and acacia flowers, and a balanced, refreshing palate with pleasant acidity.
