About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit grows in the Sannio region at 200–600 m above sea level. The southeast-facing vineyards have clay-limestone soils, and the vines are Guyot-trained. The wider area also contains volcanic rock and has mild winters, regular rainfall from September to March, and dry, warm summers.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in late September at full ripeness. After destemming and crushing, they are gently pressed and fermented in stainless-steel tanks at 15 °C.
Tasting profile
Easy-drinking, with fresh-fruit aromas and flavours.
