History
The Tamellini family has grown grapes in the Soave region for three generations. The brothers' grandfather, who founded Cantina Sociale del Soave, planted vines in 1930; a small proportion of them are still part of the estate. The winery itself was not built until 1998. Today it is run by the brothers Gaetano and Pio, who learned winemaking from their grandfather.
Winemaking
The vineyards are farmed with care for the environment, without chemical fertilizers.
Fermentation and aging take place in stainless steel tanks, to maintain the purity of the wines, which are naturally free from contamination. The wines are classified as Soave DOC and Soave Classico DOC and are made from Garganega, the only variety grown.
Philosophy
The brothers preserve family traditions while working to bring wines made from Garganega to an international level. They farm with care for the environment and use stainless steel to maintain the purity of the wines.
