About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from Castelnuovo Berardenga in the province of Siena, at an altitude of 300 m. Yield is 5,500 kg/ha.
Grapes
Sangiovese.
Vinification
A very brief cold maceration is followed by gentle pressing of the pomace. The must ferments in small stainless-steel vats at a controlled 10°C. Malolactic fermentation is prevented.
Ageing
The wine is aged in stainless steel.
Technical data
Alcohol: 12.5% vol. Available format: 0.75 l bottle.
Tasting profile
Onion-skin pink. Cherry and strawberry shape the fruity profile, while pronounced freshness and versatility define the palate.
