About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The earliest vintages used fruit from the Villa Bianchi vineyard. Today, the grapes come from high-altitude vineyards near Cupramontana, an area with a long history of Verdicchio production.
Ageing
The wine rests for at least 18 months after fermentation, followed by a further 6 months in bottle.
Tasting profile
Full and complex, with a well-defined structure, rich aromas and flavours, and considerable finesse.
Label / history
First produced in 1995, Plenio takes its name from the Latin word “plenum,” referring to the wine’s full and complex character.
