About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in Chianti Classico on sandy, limestone-rich soils.
Vinification
The grapes are hand-picked at optimal ripeness and placed in small trays. Fermentation with natural yeasts and skin maceration take place in open 10 hl vessels, allowing oxygen exposure. Pump-overs are performed manually.
Ageing
The wine matures for 24 months in a single 24 hl oak cask, followed by at least one year in bottle.
