About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

Made in Puglia from selected Fiano grapes. The wine's minerality reflects the fine soils of its terroir.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested at ideal ripeness to preserve their freshness. At the winery they are destemmed and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 17–18 °C.

Ageing

The wine ages in stainless steel tanks, which highlights the fresh floral aromas of the grapes.

Tasting profile

Refreshing, well-balanced, complex and elegant, with a lovely minerality. The nose offers vivid floral and exotic fruit notes, evoking the sunny character of southern Italy.

Serving and pairing

Suited to light summer dishes: seafood, fresh vegetable salads, risotto with herbs and young cheeses.

Label / history

Archita belongs to Cantine San Giorgio, a range of wines named after great thinkers and philosophers. Archytas was an ancient Greek philosopher, mathematician, mechanical engineer, music theorist, statesman and military commander.
