About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards' particular location helps the grapes ripen fully and reach maximum concentration of nutrients.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in early October. After pressing, they undergo maceration and fermentation at 22–26 °C for 8–10 days. In the final days of January the wine is transferred onto Amarone grape must and skins, which gives it a more complex structure.
Ageing
The wine ages for 8–10 months in French and American oak barrels.
Label / history
Tenuta Valleselle is a country house in the hills around Lake Garda, near Bardolino, surrounded by 12 hectares of vineyards and olive groves owned by the Tinazzi company. The family bought the estate in 1986 and restored it. Visitors can taste wines from the cellar and explore the vineyards.
