About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Merlot is harvested by hand from vineyards on the shores of Lake Garda.
Vinification
The grapes are destemmed and crushed. Maceration and fermentation follow at a controlled temperature of 22–26 °C and last 10–15 days.
Ageing
The wine is aged in oak barrels for 4–8 months.
Label / history
Tenuta Valleselle is a country villa in the hills near Lake Garda, not far from Bardolino. It is surrounded by 12 hectares of vineyards and olive groves owned by Tinazzi. The family acquired the estate in 1986 and restored it. It now receives guests, who can taste wines from the cellar, explore the vineyards and hold celebrations there.
