Vineyard and terroir
The fruit is grown in Abruzzo.
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes are pressed and fermented at low temperatures in steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine rests for three months in stainless-steel tanks before bottling.
Label / history
“Gufo” is Italian for owl. This nocturnal bird has long symbolised knowledge, wind and skill; in Ancient Rome, it was associated with the soul of the goddess Minerva.
