About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the commune of Tollo at an altitude of 150 metres. The vineyards face south and southeast, and the vines are 25–30 years old.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in the second half of October. After extended skin maceration, the must ferments at 30 °C and undergoes malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine matures for 18 months in French oak barrels, followed by six months in bottle in the winery’s cellars.
