The historical BG Recioto della Valpolicella Classico is Tommaso Bussola’s sweet red wine from Veneto. The 2000 vintage combines a rich, full-bodied impression with pronounced sweetness and a substantial tannic structure. Its intensity makes it a suitable partner for mature Parmesan or Pecorino: the cheese’s saltiness contrasts with the sweet wine, while their richness is closely matched. Bitter chocolate also offers a complementary pairing. The BG initials identify the traditional line named after Giuseppe Bussola.
