About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyard lies in the Murgia region, north of the city of Bari. The vines grow at 350–400 metres above sea level on medium-textured alluvial clay and limestone soils, planted at 4,500 vines per hectare.
Vinification
Harvest usually takes place in the second half of September. Carefully selected, healthy grapes at optimal ripeness are gently pressed to obtain the must. Fermentation is carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine matures in steel tanks for 3 months, followed by some additional time in the bottle.
