About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes grow in the hills of Murgia, in Puglia. Summers are hot and dry and the soils are poor, which pushes the vines to develop strong root systems. The grapes gain more intense, concentrated sensory qualities as a result.

Grapes

Nero di Troia is native to Puglia. It ripens very slowly under the hot Apulian sun.

Vinification

Nero di Troia is usually harvested in the first half of October. The wine is fermented and then aged.

Ageing

The wine spends 10 months in stainless steel tanks, then rests further in bottle after bottling.

Tasting profile

Fragrant, spicy aromas and an elegant, fresh taste. Full-bodied, well-balanced and robust, with a distinctive refinement and a touch of flair.

Label / history

"Torre del Falco" means "Falcon's Tower".
