About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards surround Ronchi, a small town in the southern part of the Tramin estate. They lie at 300–350 m above sea level on clay soils and yield approximately 40 hL/ha.
Vinification
Remontage (pump-overs) is used to extract tannins.
Ageing
The wine ages in oak barriques and French oak barrels, which add richness to its flavour.
Tasting profile
Tannin-rich, with a rich flavour shaped by oak ageing.
Label / history
The name “Loam” refers to the vineyards’ clay soils.
