About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in Neumarkt and Auer, where vineyards have been cultivated for more than two centuries.
Grapes
The fruit is selected from successful vintages.
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes are sorted and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in oak barrels at a controlled temperature of 28 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures in French barriques before being blended in large casks and bottled after a total of 14 months. It then ages for a further year in bottle in the winery’s cellars.
Label / history
The wine belongs to the “Selezioni Terminum” range. The name “Terminum” derives from the name used for the village of Tramin in ancient Roman times.
