About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
Pinot Bianco has been cultivated in Alto Adige for many years. The vines give good yields and concentrated fruit flavours. Tramin’s vineyards lie in the hills near the small village associated with the wine’s name.
Grapes
Pinot Bianco originated in France. The variety gains body and structure over time, particularly with oak ageing.
Vinification
The grapes were harvested into small boxes and gently pressed. Fermentation took place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 19 °C.
Ageing
The wine was aged in oak barrels.
Label / history
“Moriz” is the name of the patron saint of a small village in the hills near Tramin’s vineyards and inspired the wine’s name.
