About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Sauvignon Blanc comes from two opposing sites on the eastern and western sides of a hilly valley in Alto Adige, at 450 metres above sea level. The vineyards receive sunlight at different times of day, giving the fruit from each site distinct characteristics.
Vinification
The grapes are gently pressed at low pressure over an extended period. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 19 °C, without malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine matures in large oak barrels.
Tasting profile
Fresh, with an interesting bouquet, a lightly salty palate and intriguing acidity.
