About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Chardonnay comes from a single historic parcel in the Anfiteatro vineyard, planted in 1982 on a hillside at 500 m above sea level. The soils consist of Alberese and schistose argillites. The vines are trained using the Guyot system.
Grapes
100% Chardonnay.
Vinification
Spontaneous fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts.
Ageing
The wine matures for 12 months, divided equally between stainless steel and wood. The wooden component comprises one 350 L tonneau and one 225 L barrique. Bâtonnage is carried out during maturation.

Tasting profile
Bright and luminous in appearance. The fragrant nose opens with elderflower and acacia, followed by green apple, Conference pear and lime zest. The palate is refined and approachable, combining generous ripe fruit with a slightly saline edge, lively acidity and a refreshing finish.
Serving and pairing
Suitable as an aperitif and as a partner for fish, shellfish, vegetarian dishes and summer first courses.
Vintage notes
The 2024 release combines the freshness of its high-altitude site with a bright, fragrant profile and naturally limited production.
