About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vines grow at approximately 400 m above sea level on marl and galestro soils. They are trained using the spurred-cordon system.
Grapes
100% Sangiovese.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks, followed by 15–20 days of skin maceration.
Ageing
The wine matures for approximately six months in Slavonian oak barrels with an average capacity of around 5 hl.
